Charalampos Kyprianidis was born in 1980 in Thessaloniki, Greece. His family origins are from the ancient Greek town of Amphipolis but he was raised in the city of Komotini. He studied at the University of Macedonia and graduated from the Department of Economics. He was an active member of the student community participating in European and international institutions, working on issues of international relations, education and culture. He has worked as a business consultant and tax advisor, managing his own office in the city of Komotini. He owns A’ class certification on accounting and he is a member of Rodopis Accountants Association. He has been an elected member of the board of the Economic Chamber of Greece for six years, serving as Vice President and the financial supervisor of the regional department. Since March 2017, he lives and works in Cyprus.
During his student years, he developed a great passion for sports and technology that led him developing several sports websites and becoming a politics and sports photojournalist and a member of the Hellenic Photojournalists Association. He has also worked as a correspondent of all major Greek photo press and news agencies in the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, being media accredited for big sports events in Greece and Europe. Since September 2016, he is an MSc student in “Communication and New Journalism” at the Open University of Cyprus.
